This work is called Aromas. It had been exhibited in the show ‘Anti-Gallery Gallery Show’ at Espacio Gallery, London in 2015. There were six glass jars hung at different places of the gallery. Visitors were meant to sniff them without knowing what were inside. The jars had contents like medicine, spices, Dior perfume, cigarette butts, dried fish and coffee.
By this work I wanted to make the visitors aware that the smells around us we experience everyday can be part of our ‘Art-experience’;- Art experience can also be olfactory.
